       Parents to the Parentless (Papa’s Home), Inc., a non-profit corporation registered in Maryland, USA, and tax-exempt under Section 501 (c) (3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code, was established in 2005, in response to the family devastation created by the HIV/AIDS epidemic of the 1980s and 1990s.

       Although HIV/AIDS is no longer the killer it was at that time, children are still being orphaned by war or disease, or abandoned by parents incapable of raising them.

       Papa’s Home, Inc., provides for the physical,  educational, emotional, and spiritual development of orphans and destitute children.

       All contributions to Papa’s Home are tax-deductible. Every cent you donate goes directly to help orphans and destitute children, with ZERO PERCENT going to administrative costs, because the founder of Papa’s Home pays, and has always paid, all the administrative costs from his own pocket.

        Every other year, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Papa’s Home, a former auditor with Coopers and Lybrand, Chartered Accountants, and a retired Financial Management Adviser for the Africa Region of the World bank, travels to Africa, and personally checks receipts and vouchers to ensure that every dollar disbursed by papa’s Home has been spent on its intended purpose.

       Every member of Papa’s Home receives a detailed annual financial statement, as well as a detailed operational report, a summary of which is published on our website as “News Update”.

       TRANSPARENCY and ACCOUNTABILITY are our watchwords.
